Everton, West Ham United and Newcastle United have been linked with Manchester City’s Eliaquim Mangala on transfer deadline day.

It has been reported that Sam Allardyce’s side expect to complete the signing of the 26-year-old central defender from Premier League rivals City on loan for the rest of the season.

The 26-year-old has been on the books of the Citizens since the summer of 2014 when he joined from FC Porto for a transfer fee reported by Sky Sports to be worth £32 million.
It seems that Everton are set to beat Premier League rivals West Ham United and Newcastle United to the signature of the France international centre-back.

The Sun has credited West Ham and Newcastle with interest in the defender, claiming that both the Hammers and the Magpies have made late bids for the former FC Porto star.
Mangala is a decent defender who could be a valuable signing for Everton for the second half of the season and could push them towards the top eight.
