According to Tuttosport, Everton are at the top of the list for Juventus central midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

TuttoJuve recently claimed of interest in the former Paris Saint-Germain star from Arsenal, Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Now Tuttosport are reporting that the Toffees, whose manager Carlo Ancelotti worked with the 25-year-old at PSG, are at the top of the list.

Stats

Rabiot joined Juventus in the summer of 2019 on a free transfer after leaving PSG.

According to WhoScored, the France international has made 11 starts and six substitute appearances in Serie A, and has played 278 minutes in the Champions League for Juventus so far this season.

Huge praise

Rabiot may not have been a huge success at Juventus, but his teammate Gianluigi Buffon rates the France international highly.

In June 2019, Buffon – who played with the central midfielder at PSG as well – told Bein Sports, as transcribed by Squawka.com, that the Frenchman “has the strength of Pogba, who is built like a wardrobe, the courage of Vidal and potentially the dynamism of Marchisio”.

Good signing for Everton?

Rabiot is a serial winner with a winning mentality, and his experience of playing for big clubs such as Juventus and PSG makes him a very appealing player.

With Everton aiming to challenge for the Champions League places in the coming years, Rabiot would be a very good signing for the Toffees, especially as Ancelotti has already worked with him.
