Sam Allardyce’s Everton have been linked with Arsenal in the summer transfer window.

Jack Wilshere has been on the books of Arsenal his entire professional club football career so far, but there are just a few more months left on his current contract.
According to Transfermarkt.co.uk, Wilshere is out of contract at Arsenal at the end of June 2018.
The England international midfielder has had injury issues throughout his career, but the 26-year-old is playing pretty regularly for the Gunners at the moment.

Everton a factor
An agreement between Wilshere and Arsenal over a new contract has yet to be reached, and it seems that Everton may be a factor.
According to The Mirror, the Gunners believe that Everton have other midfield targets despite their interest in Wilshere, and that the Englishman’s options are limited.
The North London outfit have reportedly offered him a new deal which will require him to take a pay-cut, which the England international has turned down.

Uncertain future
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admitted to The Liverpool Echo earlier this week that he does not know if Wilshere will be at the Emirates Stadium next season.
Wilshere would be a good singing for Everton, although it would be interesting to see if the Toffees agree to pay the kind of salary that the 26-year-old reportedly wants.
With his experience and natural ability, Wilshere could help Everton break into the top six of the Premier League this season.
