Everton are 7/1 to sign the out-of-favour Liverpool marksman.
Ladbrokes have listed Everton as among the candidates to sign out-of-favour Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge in January.
The 27-year-old marksman is heavily linked with a move away from Anfield this winter after starting only four Premier League matches under manager Jurgen Klopp this season.
Goodison Park is not a location which has been touted for the England international but, having said that, Ladbrokes rate Everton as 7/1 to swoop for the hitman.
The Mirror reported this week that West Ham United (7/2) and Stoke City (6/1) will battle for the former Chelsea hitman, while he has also been linked to AC Milan on Wednesday.
Arsenal (9/2), Chelsea (6/1) and Man United (6/1) are also included in the market.
Sturridge’s injury problems are well documented but when fit, he is a fine goalscorer and he won’t be short of suitors come January.
Everton could certainly do with another striker. Ronald Koeman’s side are arguably too reliant on Romelu Lukaku, who has netted seven of the Toffees’ 15 Premier League goals, and the big Belgian is prone to large spells without finding a goal, underlining the importance of another reliable forward.
Joining Liverpool’s Merseyside rivals would not make Sturridge the most popular player in the city, but his first-team prospects look limited under Klopp and Goodison Park may represent a decent place to rebuild his career.
