Belgium international Michy Batshuayi is currently on loan at Crystal Palace from London rivals Chelsea and is reportedly attracting interest from Everton.

The most consistent thing about Everton this season has been their lack of inconsistency and that was proven once again over the weekend when they were beaten by Fulham.
In recent weeks, the Toffees had beaten the likes of West Ham, Chelsea and Arsenal, but they then deservedly fell to a defeat against already-relegated Fulham at Craven Cottage.
It is obvious to all that Marco Silva is missing that key man up front. He needs someone that can deliver the goods on a regular basis, and even at times, pull his team out of trouble even when they are not playing well. No-one has done that since Romelu Lukaku and it’s not easy replacing the Belgium powerhouse.
The Express have recently claimed that the Toffees are interested in signing Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi in the summer and are willing to meet the £40 million his parent club want for him.
The fact that Everton are willing to meet the valuation put on Batshuayi by his club is utterly baffling because he is yet to prove himself in English football.
At this moment in time, he is on-loan at Crystal Palace after making the short trip from Stamford Bridge to Selhurst Park during the January transfer window.

The 90k-a-week ace [Spotrac] has scored three goals from his 11 matches [transfermarkt] and with their Premier League status nearly confirmed for next season he will be hoping to help them finish as high as possible.
There is no doubt that Everton need an out-and-out striker who can provide an all-round package for Silva and have strengths such as being a threat in the penalty area.
Batshuayi, who has scored nine goals in 41 Premier League matches [transfermarkt] is yet to prove that in England’s top-flight even though he has had some success in Germany.
Either way, a player like Callum Wilson is more suited to Silva’s style of play, given his ability to hold up the ball, score with both feet and play the possession game if need be.
