Everton owner Farhad Moshiri asking questions about Watford’s Marco Silva

Everton are believed to be interested in Watford boss Farhad Moshiri.

According to a report in the Daily Telegraph, Farhad Moshiri is very keen on Everton appointing Watford boss Marco Silva as their next manager.

Everton are currently looking for Ronald Koeman’s replacement, and have taken their time to assess all available options.

Sam Allardyce is said to be the front runner at this stage, but Silva is high up on Moshiri’s wishlist.

Moshiri has reportedly been asking former colleagues of Silva whether he would be a good fit for Everton, as he looks to make sure the Toffees get their next appointment right.

Everton realise there is great pressure on them to ensure the next man who comes in is capable of guiding them up the Premier League table.

The Merseyside club are currently in 15th place, after what has been an awful campaign for them so far.

Everton actually came from behind to beat Silva’s Watford side 3-2 yesterday, to finally end their winless run.
