Muhamed Besic joined Middlesbrough on loan from Everton in the summer transfer window.

Besic joined Championship club Middlesbrough on loan from Premier League club Everton in the summer transfer window.
The 26-year-old also spent the second half of last season on loan at the Riverside Stadium after making the move from the Toffees in the January transfer window.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina international defensive midfielder is playing well at the moment, and the 26-year-old – who earns £30,000 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – has said that he is enjoying working with Pulis.
Besic told The Northern Echo about Pulis: “The manager has really managed me really well in the last two months. You could see at Hillsborough I was really fit, strong, and I think I am now at my best.
“I like this manager a lot, defence as well as attack. He can do both. I like this because I can tackle and I can play.
“The most important thing is I want the freedom from the coach, and that is why I came back here.”

Future hint?
Given that Besic has been on loan since January 2018, it is clear that the defensive midfielder does not have a future at Everton.
Since the 26-year-old is enjoying working with Pulis, perhaps a permanent switch makes sense, especially if Middlesbrough win promotion from the Championship to the Premier League at the end of the season.
