Guus Til could have his Spartak Moscow contract terminated with Premier League suitors Everton, Southampton and Wolves lining up to sign the Dutch international forward, as reported by Voetbal International.
The former AZ Alkmaar captain is currently plying his trade on loan at Feyenoord.
He is due to return to Russia at the end of the 2021/22 Eredivisie campaign, however, though the current geopolitical situation in Eastern Europe means Til’s future is very much up in the air as things stand.
“It is known that they (Til and team-mate Jorrit Hendrix) do not want to go back to Russia,” explains De Telegraaf reporter Marcel Van der Kraan.
“Feyenoord will see if they can be declared free-agents in June.”
According to TEAMtalk, Til has plenty of suitors in the Premier League, complicating Feyenoord’s attempts to keep the Zimbabwe-born 24-year-old at De Kuip.
Everton are interested. As are Southampton, Wolves, West Ham United and Crystal Palace.
What next for Feyenoord loanee Guus Til?
“This (the termination of his contract) must be arranged as soon as possible,” Louis Everard, a board member of the international players’ union, tells Voetbal International.
“The increasingly escalating (Russia – Ukraine) conflict seems, to us, to be a reason to be able to terminating the contract without having to pay compensation. We are now discussing this.”

“Given the enormously worrying situation, we believe that players should be allowed to leave the country (Russia).”
Til, who was linked with a move to Rangers before embarking on an injury-afflicted stint at Freiburg in the Bundesliga, has scored a highly impressive 19 goals for Feyenoord this season, operating as an attacking midfielder or a false nine.
