Everton have held talks over a move to finally sign winger Arnaut Danjuma after missing out in the January transfer window.
Arnaut Danjuma could finally end up at Everton this summer after leaving Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
That’s according to a report from TEAMtalk, who claim that Everton have started talks to sign Danjuma.
It’s claimed that manager Sean Dyche has now given the green light for Everton to go back in for Danjuma.
The report highlights how Danjuma was all set for a loan move from Villarreal to Everton during the January transfer window.
Danjuma had his medical with Everton and seemed destined to join before pulling a shock U-turn.
The Dutchman ended up joining Tottenham Hotspur instead, but his loan move there has come to an end and he is back with Villarreal this summer.
Everton aren’t holding a grudge and are going back in for Danjuma in the hope of finally striking a deal.

Arnaut Danjuma to Tottenham didn’t quite work
We can understand why Danjuma felt that he had to take the Tottenham chance.
Spurs had Champions League football and, at the time, were looking a decent shout for the top four.
Add in that Everton sacked Frank Lampard whilst Danjuma’s deal was in motion as well as the club’s relegation fight and many players would have made the same choice.
The move didn’t quite work out though.
Danjuma started just one Premier League game for Tottenham, managing just 163 minutes of league action in total.
Spurs unsurprisingly chose not to turn the move permanent and have gone in another direction by signing Manor Solomon.
That means Danjuma is available again this summer and Everton could finally make their move.

Everton need attacking options
There will be Everton fans out there who would rather dodge a move for Danjuma.
The 26-year-old ultimately stood Everton up in January and let them to end the January window without an attacking addition.
Going back to Danjuma will annoy some who feel that Everton should forget all about him after his January snub.
The reality is that Everton desperately need attacking additions and if they think Danjuma is better than what they have – which we would argue he is – then they may need to move from the January situation.
Capable of playing on the left or through the middle, Danjuma could bring a spark to the Everton attack and has quality to make fans forget about his transfer U-turn.
