Everton are one of three Premier League sides interested in signing New York City starlet Jack Harrison, according to the Daily Mail.

The report claims the Toffees want to add the 20-year-old to their squad with owner Farhad Moshiri likely to make funds available to Everton’s next manager, after a dismal start to the 2017-18 campaign.

It is believed that the former Manchester United trainee will cost any interested parties around £6million, with Leicester City and Brighton also said to be interested in the two-time England Under-21 international.

New York City FC head coach Patrick Vieira arrives for an interview with AFP during the club's annual media day on March 9, 2017, in New York.

New York City’s Harrison, who has gained rave reviews from City manager Patrick Vieira as well as former midfielder Frank Lampard and current teammate Andrea Pirlo, has been in exceptional form this season for the MLS outfit.

Scoring 10 goals and adding three assists in 34 league and cup appearances, Harrison helped Vieira’s side reach the semi-finals of the MLS Cup only to lose 4-3 on aggregate to Columbus Crew.

The winger can play on either flank as well as a centre-forward and has alerted the Premier League trio as he remains in the form of his life for New York City, as he continues to develop a reputation for having a fleet-footed style of play.

A move to the Premier League, though, could be too tempting to turn down for Staffordshire-born Harrison, with Everton known for their faith in youth which has seen the likes of Beni Baningime, Jonjoe Kenny and Dom Calvert-Lewin shine this season.
