Everton are interested in appointing former Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri as their new boss, according to lL Messaggero, who have added that West Ham United are interested in the Italian as well.

The report in the Italian publication has claimed that Everton and West Ham are monitoring Sarri, who has experience of working in the Premier League with Chelsea.
Sarri replaced fellow Italian Antonio Conte (now the Tottenham Hotspur boss) at Chelsea in the summer of 2018.
The 64-year-old won the 2018-19 UEFA Europa League with Chelsea and also reached the final of the EFL Cup that season.
SkySports have reported that Everton could sack Frank Lampard as their manager today.
The Toffees are in real danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
Like Sarri, Lampard is a former Chelsea manager.
And let’s not forget that in recent years, Everton have appointed Rafael Benitez and Carlo Ancelotti, former interim managers/managers of Chelsea.
Could Everton get Maurizio Sarri?
In our view, it is very unlikely that Everton will be able to get Maurizio Sarri, either now or in the summer of 2023.
Why would Sarri leave his role at Lazio now and move to an Everton side that could be playing in the Championship next season?
