Sean Dyche’s Everton are reportedly trying to sign Wilfried Gnonto from Daniel Farke’s Leeds United on the final day of the summer transfer window.
Sky Sports are reporting this morning that Premier League club Everton are interested in signing Wilfried Gnonto from Championship side Leeds United today.
Everton in talks with Leeds United over Wilfried Gnonto
Everton are “in talks” with Leeds over a move for Gnonto and have not given up on signing the Italy international winger.
Leeds had earlier turned down approaches from Everton for the 19-year-old, but the Toffees are still trying to convince the West Yorkshire club to sell him.
Sky Sports have reported that Leeds “have maintained” that Gnonto, who was described by Andrea Radrizzani as “exceptional” in TuttoMercatoWeb in March, is not for sale.

We do not think that Leeds United will sell Wilfried Gnonto to Everton today.
No way.
Gnonto is back in the Leeds squad now, and it seems that he has been convinced to continue to play for the West Yorkshire club.
And he is a very good player and an important one too for Leeds.
Gnonto has scored one goal in two Championship appearances for Leeds this season.
The teenager made 14 starts and 10 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Leeds last season.
The winger scored two goals and gave four assists in those matches.
