Sean Dyche’s Everton have been linked with a move for Sheffield United striker Daniel Jebbison.
According to The Sun on Sunday (print edition, page 59, August 6, 2023), Everton are interested in signing Daniel Jebbison from Sheffield United in the summer transfer window.
The report in the British tabloid has claimed that Everton are planning a bid for Jebbison.
The 19-year-old striker is in the final year of his contract at Sheffield United, and the Blades could sell him at the right price.
The report has claimed that Blades, who will play in the Premier League this season after winning promotion from the Championship, may be open to a player-exchange deal.
Sheffield United striker Daniel Jebbison one for the future for Everton
In our opinion, Everton should view Daniel Jebbison as a player for the future and not someone who could be able to make an immediate impact at Goodison Park.
After all, Jebbison is only 19 now and has been playing in the Championship.

We believe that it would not be fair on the striker if he is expected to make an immediate impact at the Merseyside club.
Everton do need to strengthen their front-line.
While Dominic Calvert-Lewin is a very good striker, the Englishman has had injury problems.
Everton scored just 34 goals in 38 Premier League matches last season.
That needs to change and get better.
We do not think that Jebbison is ready to lead the line for the Toffees yet and should be seen only as a back-up option for manager Sean Dyche.
Jebbison made five starts and 11 substitute appearances in the Championship for Sheffield United last season.
The striker scored one goal and gave two assists in those games.
