Everton have agreed personal terms with Abdoulaye Doucoure, Fabrizio Romano has claimed.
Everton have been long-standing admirers of Doucoure, and went for the Watford man last summer.
Watford, on that occasion, were not prepared to sell Doucoure to Everton, but following their relegation their stance has softened.
Although Watford still want a sizeable fee for the midfielder, they are prepared to negotiate now, with a fee of around £20 million wanted (Daily Mail).
And it seems that Everton have taken a big leap closer to landing the enforcer, as they have agreed personal terms with him.
Romano also says that Everton’s move for Allan is practically completed now, while James Rodriguez will arrive.
The triple update looks like great news for Everton, who should have solved all their midfield problems with the three additions.
Everton really struggled to find a reliable pairing in midfield last term, but they will have great options in there next season.
