Everton sacked manager Ronald Koeman last month – and the search is on for a replacement.

Everton confirmed last month that manager Ronald Koeman has been relieved of his duties after a dreadful start to the season.
The Toffees went into the season full of hope and optimism, having splashed the cash over the summer on players such as Jordan Pickford, Michael Keane, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Davy Klaassen, whilst they also brought Wayne Rooney back to the club.
However, with five defeats in the first nine Premier League games, and just one point taken from three Europa League outings, Everton endured a disastrous start to the campaign – and Koeman paid with his job.
Caretaker boss David Unsworth claimed a first win on Sunday evening, coming from 2-0 down to beat Watford 3-2 at Goodison Park, and he remains in the running to land the job permanently.

Bookmakers such as Sky Bet have been pricing up odds for Everton’s new manager ever since Koeman’s update, and here are some of the main names in the frame this evening.
David Unsworth: 4/9
Current caretaker Unsworth landed his first win on Sunday, and fans are now hopeful that Everton can turn the corner – despite being 2-0 down to Watford with 25 minutes to play. The stunning comeback has done wonders for Unsworth’s chance of landing the job, and he is now back in as the favourite at 4/9 – but his chances of landing the job may merely be boosted by Everton struggling to land another boss.
Sam Allardyce: 7/2
Allardyce has often been the favourite for the job, but right now he is back down to second favourite at 7/2. ‘Big Sam’ has been out of management since leaving Crystal Palace at the end of last season, but could be tempted back into Premier League management with Everton. At 7/2, Allardyce remains in the running, but with haggling over the length of any Everton contract, he is understandably slipping.

Guus Hiddink: 9/1
Linked last week but often an outsider for the job, Dutchman Guus Hiddink has now emerged as one of the favourites with bookmakers. The 71-year-old hasn’t managed since leaving Chelsea at the end of the 2015-16 season, but could be the ideal veteran hand to take over and steady the ship at Goodison Park. His long-standing relationship with former boss Koeman may put off some Everton fans, but at 9/1, he is now a dark horse.
Diego Simeone: 25/1
A bizarre link to Atletico Madrid boss Simeone emerged on Tuesday, with the Argentinian allegedly a top target for Farhad Moshiri. The Argentinian has won La Liga, the Europa League and the UEFA Super Cup during his time in Madrid, as well as taking Atletico to two Champions League finals. A move to Goodison Park seems unlikely for one of the game’s top managers, and bookmakers have responded by making him 25/1 for the job tonight.
