Everton sacked manager Ronald Koeman last month – and the search is on for a replacement.

Everton confirmed last month that manager Ronald Koeman has been relieved of his duties after a dreadful start to the season.
The Toffees went into the season full of hope and optimism, having splashed the cash over the summer on players such as Jordan Pickford, Michael Keane, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Davy Klaassen, whilst they also brought Wayne Rooney back to the club.
However, with five defeats in the first nine Premier League games, and just one point taken from three Europa League outings, Everton endured a disastrous start to the campaign – and Koeman paid with his job.
Caretaker boss David Unsworth claimed a first win in their last game before the international break, coming from 2-0 down to beat Watford 3-2 at Goodison Park, and he remains in the running to land the job permanently.

Bookmakers such as Sky Bet have been pricing up odds for Everton’s new manager ever since Koeman’s update, and here are some of the main names in the frame this evening.
David Unsworth: 7/5
Before the international break, caretaker boss Unsworth claimed his first win in charge with a 3-2 victory over Watford, in which Everton came from 2-0 down to win 3-2. After three defeats, that victory has given Unsworth renewed hope of landing the job, and he remains the favourite tonight with odds of 7/5.
Marco Silva: 6/4
Watford boss Silva has been a prominent name throughout the managerial search, and he has unsurprisingly been cut to 6/4 for the job, after The Independent reported that Everton made an approach for the 40-year-old today. The Portuguese coach impressed with Hull despite their relegation last season, and he has already impressed with Watford, leading to Everton’s interest – and it remains to be seen whether Everton return with a new approach.

Sean Dyche: 5/1
Burnley boss Dyche was the hot favourite earlier in the process, but he drifted back out to around 16/1 last week as the links dried up. Tonight, Dyche is back down to 5/1, with the Clarets manager back in the mix with bookmakers. Dyche has done a remarkable job for Burnley, taking them to two promotions to the Premier League before staying up in the top flight last season, and his organisational skills should be appealing to Everton.
Aitor Karanka: 25/1
A bizarre link emerging tonight is with Aitor Karanka, who is in at 25/1 this evening. The Spaniard parted ways with Middlesbrough back in March, and hasn’t returned to management since. Whilst Karanka impressed in the Championship, winning promotion with Boro in 2016, he would be a hugely underwhelming appointment for many Toffees fans, and he remains an outsider for the job despite his emergence.
