Everton, West Ham United and Newcastle United are thought to be on alert with Juventus now willing to let Aaron Ramsey leave for nothing.

That’s according to The Sun, who claim that Juve are now ready to let Ramsey leave for absolutely nothing in January.

Everton, West Ham and Newcastle are thought to be keen, with a free transfer no doubt appealing for the former Arsenal man.

How has Ramsey fared with Juventus?

In his two full seasons at Juve, Ramsey has only managed six goals in 39 games.

Ramsey only played 20 minutes in today’s game against Sampdoria and appears to be down the pecking order.

Juve have worked the free transfer market brilliantly in recent times, but Ramsey just hasn’t really worked out.

Ramsey’s wages surely a problem for West Ham, Everton and Newcastle

There are a few big issues with Ramsey, one of them being his huge wages.

Ramsey earns a whopping £400,000-a-week at Juventus, which those three clubs would have no business paying.

Add in that Ramsey has been injury-prone for years and £400,000-a-week would be a huge risk.

Additionally, Ramsey is 31 in December, and committing to big wages at that age just wouldn’t make sense for any of the clubs involved.
