Everton reportedly wanted Ezri Konsa in the summer, and should now act as one of their Premier League rivals eye up the defender.

Everton are a much better defensive unit than they were last season. Three clean sheets in their last five games has played its part in helping Marco Silva’s men move themselves into the Premier League’s top six.
Nevertheless, the Toffees need to keep their eye on potential additions that could be made to their backline, especially with Kurt Zouma only on loan at Goodison Park at the moment.
Konsa has been excellent at Griffin Park and has started all but one of their Championship games this season. But despite only recently joining the Bees, it appears that he could be on the move again.

Spending an eight-figure sum on a player who boasts just 18 appearances in the second tier seems like a major risk. But Everton should seriously consider rivalling Unai Emery’s men for his signature.
While Konsa lacks experience in the top two divisions, he has already amassed over 100 appearances during his career, which is an impressive tally for a player of his age.
And given the potential that he has shown, there is a good chance that he would go on to make a £15 million transfer fee look like a bargain in the coming years.

With Everton’s defence looking significantly more stable this year, Silva can potentially afford to bring a youngster in as they have the players around him to help him adapt to life with the Toffees.
Konsa is showing why Everton looked at him in the summer, and they should not pass up the opportunity to reignite their interest as it appears that his big move could be imminent.
