The Bayer Leverkusen star has been linked with a Premier League move this week.
This week it was reported by The Sun that Tottenham Hotspur are interested in bringing in Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen.
The German goalkeeper has been in fantastic form for his club recently and is regarded as one of the best young goalkeepers in the world.
The report also suggested that he has a £12.5 million release clause which expires this weekend – so any team wishing to get him on the cheap must make a move fast.
So Everton should be getting a move on.
One position that needs to be addressed at Goodison Park is the goalkeeper area. Tim Howard has been poor this season and has now lost his place in the Everton team to Joel Robles.
As talented as the Spaniard is another option will be needed, especially with Howard on his way to Colorado Rapids Everton need to sign a new stopper.
Leno would be a fantastic option for Everton and at that price he would be an absolute bargain to bring in the German back-up.
So if Everton get a move on, they should be able to grab an absolute bargain.
