Everton desperately need a new centre-back at Goodison Park in January.

Four Premier League giants are reportedly interested in signing Sevilla sensation Clement Lenglet after becoming one of the unsung heroes of the La Liga outfit’s starting eleven – and Everton must throw their hat into the race.
The Daily Mail claims the 22-year-old has already been scouted by bitter rivals Manchester City and Manchester United ahead of the January transfer window, after starring in the Champions League for Eduardo Berizzo’s side.
Liverpool, Arsenal and Barcelona are said to have enquired about the 10-time France Under-21 international’s availability, with it believed that the Frenchman has a £28million buyout clause.

Boasting plenty of speed at the back, the former Nancy defender has already shown in his short career at Sevilla that he offers more strength than to what meets the eye as well as boasting an intricate array of passing.
Everton desperately need a centre-back in January, despite completing the signing of former Burnley defender Michael Keane in the summer.
Phil Jagielka and Ashley Williams have struggled with the increased pressure on the Toffees back-line this season. With both defenders well into their thirties, their poor form makes the duo more than expendable.

Argentina international Ramiro Funes Mori remains sidelined on Merseyside with a long-term knee problem, and it is unclear when he will return to first-team action. Mason Holgate has been used in central defence, but is better at right-back.
Owner Farhad Moshiri has already shown he is more than capable of spending large amounts of money after signing the kikes of Jordan Pickford, Davy Klaassen and Gylfi Sigurdsson, so meeting Lenglet’s buyout clause will not prevent the Toffees.
One of the up-and-coming stars of European football, Everton must move quickly to sign Lenglet in what would be the perfect signing to shore up their leaky defence.
