Everton should offer Crystal Palace back Yannick Bolasie if they move for Wilfried Zaha.
Everton have been linked with making a move for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha.
The Sun report The Toffees have joined the clubs interested in Zaha, who Palace rate at £60 million.
They can lower the outlay by sending back Yannick Bolasie to the Eagles in part exchange.
Everton paid £30 million to sign Bolasie in 2016 but the move has not worked out.
Bolasie’s first season was ruined by injury and last year he struggled for form upon his return.
He could argue that he needs this year to try and prove himself, but competition for places is tough and a new manager and new director of football coming in will have fresh ideas.
One of those appears to be Zaha, his former Palace teammate.
For Palace, getting Bolasie back gives them an instant replacement for Zaha, who they are desperate not to lose.
Getting him back would also ease Palace the heartbreak of having to come up against an Everton side boasting two of their much loved former wingers next season.
Bolasie may take a bit of convincing to leave Everton, especially with his pal arriving, but after a tough couple of seasons he needs to be playing regularly and he will have a better shot of doing so if he returns to Selhurst Park.
