Nikola Vlasic made his first start for Everton since January in Sam Allardyce’s side’s last match.

Vlasic was restored to Everton’s starting line-up for their match against Huddersfield Town at the weekend, and he helped the Toffees pick up a 2-0 victory.
Vlasic was quietly effective during the contest, but the £10 million summer signing is still finding his feet again.

Sam Allardyce has constantly overlooked the Croatian since taking charge, much to the frustration of many Everton supporters.
Vlasic was making his first Premier League start since January against Huddersfield.
And the Croatian comments suggest that he is having to rebuild his confidence again now.

He said: “It was my first match after three months. My confidence will be much better in the next few games.”
Vlasic looked as if he had the potential to be a star at Everton in the early stages of his career at Goodison Park, and the hope is that he can re-find that sort of form again.
Everton have just two games remaining this season, with their next match coming against relegation threatened Southampton.
