Tottenham Hotspur and Everton will face each other in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Everton attacking midfielder Ross Barkley has told The Daily Mail that Tottenham Hotspur star Mousa Dembele is the toughest opponent he has faced.
Barkley believes that Tottenham midfielder Dembele is a top player, and that the Belgium international does not get the recognition that he deserves.
The England international midfielder has suggested that the Tottenham star should score more goals.
“Mousa Dembele,” Barkley told The Daily Mail when asked who his toughest opponent is. “He doesn’t get the recognition he deserves.
“He’s a top player. The way he protects the ball, passes the ball. He’d get more praise if he scored more goals.”
Dembele is a brilliant midfielder and is one of the best players in the current Tottenham team.
The 29-year-old, who has been playing well for Spurs this season, has developed and progressed well under manager Mauricio Pochettino.
The former Fulham star, though, should try to add goals to his game. Dembele has yet to score in the Premier League this season, while during the 2015-16 campaign, he found the net only thrice in 29 league matches.
Meanwhile, Barkley has scored four goals and created 53 chances in 23 Premier League matches for Everton so far this season.
Tottenham and Everton will face each other at White Hart Lane in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
