Morgan Schneiderlin is back in the Everton fold under Sam Allardyce after having his commitment doubted by David Unsworth.

Morgan Schneiderlin has admitted that he was surprised to lose the support of Evertons fans earlier this season and has told Sky Sports that he is out to prove his commitment.
According to Sky Sports, Schneiderlin, along with teammate Kevin Mirallas, was sent home from training in November because caretaker boss David Unsworth felt that they lacked effort.
The French midfielder was subsequently dropped from Everton’s matchday squad, and Sky Sports reports that he faced backlash from Toffees fans despite publicly denying the incident.

Schneiderlin is now determined to get the Goodison Park faithful back on side by showing that Unsworth was wrong to doubt his professionalism with his performances on the pitch.
Sky Sports quotes Schneiderlin as saying: “Yeah, I’m trying to do [that], it was a thing coming out from nothing. I was surprised that this story came out because I didn’t really do anything.
“It was the choice of the manager not to put me in the squad, it was not because I behaved bad or something. It was just a choice for him [Unsworth]. For myself I was surprised but there will always be some people who are going to believe what they read in the press.

“My only thing is to show them on the pitch that I’m 100 per cent focused. I can assure everyone that I am focused, that I’m just thinking about Everton and to improve the results and myself everyday.”
Schneiderlin is slowly returning to favour under new manager Sam Allardyce, starting Everton’s last two matches, but is yet to show the form that earned him a move to Manchester United.
The 28-year-old has dropped well out of international contention – his last France cap was in 2015 – and will need to up his game significantly if he is to have any chance of making this summer’s World Cup.
