Everton may just have more reason to sign Kurt Zouma now

Everton are said to be keen to bring in Michy Batshuayi, as Marco Silva searches for improvements.

Everton’s interest in Michy Batshuayi could make their chances of signing Kurt Zouma on a permanent transfer more likely.

Sky Sports have reported how Everton are interested in Batshuayi, but they cannot bring him in on loan.

The Toffees would have to buy Batshuayi outright as things stand, but that could be a risk as his form has been poor this season.

The forward only has one goal to his name in Spain, and taking Batshuayi on loan may appeal more to Marco Silva’s side.

If Everton are to do that, then their safest option would surely be to buy Kurt Zouma on a permanent deal.

Zouma is on loan at Everton currently, which means that Silva’s side cannot bring in any other players from Chelsea on a temporary basis.

But Zouma has already proven that he has a lot to offer Everton, and bringing him in on a permanent deal, while getting Batshuayi on loan could be the perfect solution for the Toffees.
