Everton are said to be interested in Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof.

According to the Daily Mirror, Everton want Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof and now could be the perfect time to buy him.

Lindelof struggled in his first few months at United, after moving from Benfica last summer.

However, the Swede showed signs that he had adapted to English football towards the end of the season, when his performances were much improved.

Lindelof could now be ready to make a big impact next term, and if Everton were to bring him in they could benefit from that.

The Toffees need to strengthen their back line, with question marks lingering over all their options at centre-back currently.

Michael Keane struggled in his first season at Goodison Park, while Phil Jagielka and Ashley Williams are ageing, and Ramiro Funes Mori has always been erratic.

If Lindelof was brought to Everton he would likely go straight into Marco Silva’s side defence and, judging by his performances towards the latter stages of last time, next season could be the time when he really shines in England.
