Jordan Pickford wants £200,000-a-week to stay at Everton as Sean Dyche fights to keep the Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur target.
That’s according to The Sun, who claim that new Everton boss Dyche is demanding that the club sort out a new contract for Pickford.
Pickford is understood to want to double his wages from £100,000-a-week to £200,000-a-week, leaving the ball in Everton’s court.
A deal won’t be done until Everton know what division they will be in next season but Dyche is urging the Toffees to get a deal in motion.
Pickford’s contract expires in 2024, meaning he is now inside the final 18 months of his contract.
If Everton can’t secure a new deal for Pickford soon, clubs will be swarming to try and sign the goalkeeper in a cut-price deal.

Pickford may have his doubters but he is still England’s number one and a very experienced Premier League stopper.
That will be attractive to many clubs and the report claims that both Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United are keen.
United may fancy Pickford as a successor to David De Gea but Tottenham figure to be the major suitor.

Fraser Forster didn’t exactly shine against Leicester City on Saturday and is unlikely to be Tottenham’s first-choice stopper moving forward.
Pickford turns 29 in March and still has plenty of years left in the tank whilst there wouldn’t really be an adjustment to Premier League football.
The likes of Eric Dier and Harry Kane – two vital leaders at Tottenham – know Pickford well from England international duty, which would surely help integrate him into the squad.
A move to North London does make sense, and that’s why Dyche is now pushing Everton to keep the talented stopper.
