Everton have been linked with a move for Marcelo Brozovic.
Everton manager Sam Allardyce has not ruled out moves for both Steven N’Zonzi and Marcelo Brozovic in his pre-match conference on Monday.
The Toffees have been active in the summer transfer window and have already completed the signings of Cenk Tosun and Theo Walcott.
However, it seems Allardyce is looking to add more players to his ranks before the transfer deadline day on Wednesday. He has refused to rule out players moving in or out of the door at Goodison Park over the next few days.
One of the players who could arrive at the club is Brozovic, with Corriere Dello Sport (28 January page 14) reporting that Everton are trying to tempt Inter Milan to let the 25-year-old midfielder move to Goodison Park by allowing the out-of-favour Davy Klaassen to go the other way.
Everton retain a long-standing interest in the player with Gazzetta dello Sport claiming in July that they had made a £15.7 million offer to sign the Croatian midfielder over the summer.
When Allardyce was specifically asked about Steven N’Zonzi and Marcelo Brozovic he said he has no update as of yet on their potential moves.
“Not yet,” said Allardyce, as quoted by the Liverpool Echo.
“I’m not ruling anybody in or out because it’s impossible to do that, the window open for anyone and somewhere out of blue, which normally happens this time, could appear.”
