Richarlison is an important player in Everton manager Marco Silva’s team.
Silva has praised Richarlison for how the Brazilian forward started the season, but the Everton boss is not entirely happy with how the 21-year-old performs week in and week out.
Silva told The Telegraph about Richarlison: “A season is long. He started really well and after he had some moments up and down. You can be decisive in one match, not so decisive in another match.”
“With the development of Richarlison you’re talking about a 22-year-old player who has scored very important goals for us, good performances also,” added Silva.
“It wasn’t best moment for him in the last week. I’m here to make decisions. What I want coming from him is what he did. He did a very good 30 minutes to show me he’s ready again, if I decide for him to play.”

Richarlison has made 24 starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for Everton so far the season, scoring 10 goals and providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
During the 2017-18 campaign, the Brazilian youngster made 32 starts and six substitute appearances in the Premier League for Watford, scoring five goals and providing four assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
The 21-year-old is a very talented and promising young player who can operate as a striker or on the wing, but he does need to add consistency to his game and show that he can play well week in and week out.
Everton will take on Newcastle United away from home at St. James’ Park in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
