Everton have been linked to Wilmar Barrios.

Everton have joined the race for Wilmar Barrios, according to Argentine outlet TyC Sports.
The Colombia World Cup star is currently playing for Boca Juniors.
Barrios’ potential arrival at Everton would be particularly bad news for midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin.
Schneiderlin signed for Everton 18 months ago and has struggled for consistency under a succession of managers.
He has returned to the club for pre-season with an added determination, with the Liverpool Echo reporting how he worked on his fitness over the summer.
Barrios arriving at Everton would put Schneiderlin’s place immediately under threat.

There have been conflicting report on his future, with The Guardian reporting he was likely to be sold, and The Telegraph report Marco Silva does want to give him a chance.
Schneiderin has divided the fanbase during his stint at Goodison Park so far, and with Barrios arriving, there would be even less enthusiasm for him to be selected in the first team.
The midfielder, bought for a reported £24 million, could raise his game with competition, or wilt and request a move.
On what he has contributed to the club so far, you can’t really blame Everton for wanting to raise the stakes and add a rival to either better Schneiderlin, or light a fire under him, pushing him to succeed.
