Everton have decided to allow Joel Robles to leave and Middlesbrough are looking for a goalkeeper.
According to the Daily Mail, Everton are prepared to sell Joel Robles this summer – and that could make him an appealing prospect for Middlesbrough.
Garry Monk wants a new number one at Boro, but he is yet to get a deal over the line.
Middlesbrough have been linked with a host of goalkeepers, but they should now consider Robles – with Everton looking to sell.

The Spanish stopper has been with the Toffees since 2013, and played a considerable amount of first-team football for Ronald Koeman’s side last term.
However, the arrival of Jordan Pickford has knocked Robles down the pecking order at Goodison Park, and he now looks set to depart.
The 27-year-old could now be an ideal option for Boro, as he would fit in well at Monk’s side.
Robles is capable with the ball at his feet, and with Monk promoting a possession style, that could be a key asset for any goalkeeper on Boro’s radar.
Robles is also an excellent shot stopper, and while he does have a tendency to make errors, he would be a stand out goalkeeper at Championship level.
And with Everton reportedly willing to do a deal, Boro would be smart to consider bringing the former Wigan man to Teeside.
