After being linked with AC Milan’s Andre Silva could Wolves also target Jorge Mendes clients at Barcelona, Manchester City and Watford?

With the help of links with super-agent Jorge Mendes, Wolverhampton Wanderers have already been able to sign players that previously probably wouldn’t have considered coming to the second tier of English football.
Mendes clients Diogo Jota and Ruben Neves are just two examples and now AC Milan forward Andre Silva is being linked with the Championship leaders by Birmingham Live should they be promoted to the Premier League.
So if, as expected, Wolves do return to the top flight this summer which other players on the books of Gestifute could realistically come to Molineux?

Andre Gomes
It has not really been a happy time at Barcelona for Gomes since a 2016 switch from Valencia and the Express reported last month that the midfielder was expected to leave Camp Nou at the end of the season.
The 24-year-old may not have been able to compete with the likes of Sergio Busquets, Andres Iniesta and Ivan Rakitic, but alongside fellow Portugal international Neves could form a superb partnership under Nuno Espirito Santo.
Andre Gray
While Santo has talent to call upon throughout his squad, the striker position has perhaps been the biggest issue with Al-Hilal loanee Leo Bonatini starting the campaign well but failing to impress in recent times.
Gray has had a steady, if unremarkable, first year at Watford following a move from Burnley with four league goals but could perhaps flourish when surrounded by the impressive attacking midfield talent at Wolves.

Eliaquim Mangala
Willy Boly has done well this term but remains a Porto player unless his loan stay is made permanent and in truth central defence will need to be improved if the West Midlands side go up.
Mangala may have struggled to assert himself at Manchester City and is currently injured during his temporary stay at Everton, but at 27-years-old should be about to hit his prime and was once considered one of the finest defenders in Europe.
