Everton winger Kevin Mirallas managed to annoy Toffees fans last week when he criticised their recent transfer business.

He was one of the fall guys after a busy summer and was sent out on loan, with no tempting permanent offers forthcoming.

Mirallas is at Fiorentina for the season and this weekend had a game he wanted to forget.

The Belgian was substituted early in the team’s 1-1 draw with Roma.

Mirallas had made a lowly 13 touches before being replaced on 52 minutes.

He had one shot, which did not hit the target, and failed to impact the game in his side’s favour.

Mirallas had a mixed spell on loan at Olympiakos last season and the 31-year-old’s spell in Italy has also been inconsistent.

This was only his third start of the season for Fiorentina and unfortunately it won’t be convincing the Serie A challengers to give him too many more.
