Everton are said to be keen on Alfie Mawson and Danny Rose this summer.

Everton’s potential £77 million swoop for Alfie Mawson and Danny Rose this summer would leave their defence looking much stronger.
Tottenham Hotspur are said to value Rose at £37 million, while Mawson’s asking price has been set at £40 million by Swansea, according to The Times.

However, if Everton have the money, then the English duo would leave their defence looking much stronger.
Rose has struggled at Spurs this season, but he remains one of the best left-backs in the Premier League.
While Leighton Baines has always been a solid option for Everton, he is now 34, and Rose would be a significant upgrade.

The Spurs full-back could offer the Toffees great pace down the left-flank, while also giving them a reliable defensive option.
Mawson would also help to toughen up an Everton defence, which has been porous this season.
Swansea may have been relegated this term, but without Mawson they would have gone down at a much earlier stage.
And Mawson would have the potential to come in and immediately become the Toffees’ most reliable centre-back, if he was to sign up.
