Potential Everton boss is focused on Shakhtar.

Paulo Fonseca is Everton’s top target to replace Sam Allardyce, according to The Mirror.
Everton approached Fonseca back in the Autumn but he was unwilling to leave Shakhtar Donetsk mid-season as they searched for a successor to Ronald Koeman.
Sam Allardyce is seen as just a stop gap, with Fonseca the real deal.
But the coach is in no rush to move on from the Ukrainian side.

Fonseca said: “There have been invitations, but I have to think about what is best for me and for my career. The championship is going on and I want to decide what is best to continue my career. I’m focused on Shakhtar, I want to finish first and then I’ll think about the rest.
“I want to finish first and then I’ll think about the rest. I feel valued out there. I like the experience of training out there, one day I hope to return, but not in the near future,”
One one hand, Fonseca’s comments are good for Everton in that he is not rushing back to Portugal, but on the other hand, he is no no rush to leave Ukraine.
Shakhtar are a Champions League level side, who are bidding to win a trophy in their homeland again.
He appears very content, and Everton will have to put an attractive offer together to tempt him away.
