Everton are reportedly plotting an eight-figure move for Jarrod Bowen after his stunning season in the Championship.

Bowen may perhaps not be the marquee target that many Toffees fans were probably hoping for following their underwhelming season last time out, but he went into this summer off the back of a stunning term with Hull where he scored 15 goals in all competitions despite having barely featured in the first-team before the season started.

The Sun reports that former boss Silva now wants to bring him to Merseyside and a £12 million bid will soon be on its way. And if Everton do land their man, perhaps it would be fair to suggest that the Toffees may potentially have the ability to form one of the most exciting winger pairings for the coming years.
One player who will feel like a new signing for Everton this summer is Ademola Lookman after he endured a fairly miserable time under Ronald Koeman and Sam Allardyce but then found his feet in some style in Bundesliga on loan at RB Leipzig.

Lookman scored five goals and provided three assists in just 11 league appearances for the German side, and there will be a large portion of the Goodison Park faithful who hope to see the left winger given more of a chance next year.
And if Everton could perhaps get Bowen in on the other flank and Silva manages to build on his development – he would surely do well to start regularly immediately if he did arrive – then perhaps Everton will put together a pairing that could become absolutely lethal in the years to come.
