Everton want Lewis Pirie and are now ready to make an approach for the Aberdeen talent mid interest from Leeds United.
The Toffees enjoyed a productive summer transfer window under new director of football Kevin Thelwell.
Thelwell of course wants major first-team additions but he will also be focusing some attention on young players for the future too.
Cork City goalkeeper David Harrington is one player who could arrive and Everton now have another young target in mind.

Everton want Lewis Pirie
The Daily Record report that Everton are now interested in signing Aberdeen talent Lewis Pirie.
It’s stated that Everton scouts were in attendance to watch Pirie in action for Aberdeen’s Under-16’s against Dundee United.
Pirie scored four goals in that game to impress Everton scouts, with an approach now imminent.
Aberdeen ultimately see 15-year-old Pirie becoming a first-team player in the coming years and want to keep him at Pittodrie.
Everton will hope to lure Pirie away from Aberdeen but they will face a battle – and not just with the Dons.
The Daily Record reported a month ago that Leeds United, Brighton and Hove Albion and Sheffield United all fancy signing Pirie.
The teenager will seemingly face a huge decision over his future and whether to jump to England early or stay and develop in Scotland.
Pirie has already been in first-team training with Aberdeen as boss Jim Goodwin seemingly sees a huge future ahead.
That can’t be sniffed at with Pirie only 15, and he may well sense first-team football in the not-too-distant future – something which may not come in England.
Everton raided Rangers for an exciting youngster earlier this year, signing Nathan Patterson as they look north of the border.
Pirie could end up joining Patterson at Goodison Park but this will of course be a battle for the Aberdeen talent.
