According to the Daily Mail, Everton are interested in making a move for Porto’s Alex Telles, and he could be a great signing for the Toffees.

Sam Allardyce suggested at his press conference today that Everton had finished with their signings this January.

However, the Mail claim that Telles is a man who is on Everton’s wishlist.

Everton are still short of options at left-back, with Cuco Martina currently their first-choice in the position, with Leighton Baines out injured.

Telles has been highly impressive this season for Porto, and if Everton were able to bring him to Goodiosn Park then it would raise eyebrows.

General view as the inside of Goodison Park is seen prior to the Premier League match between Everton and Watford at Goodison Park on November 5, 2017 in Liverpool, England.

Telles has been linked with a host of Europe’s top clubs recently, including Real Madrid, Chelsea and Juventus.

But Everton reportedly still feel they have a chance of landing the Brazilian.

And if Everton can complete a deal for the full-back, it would be a huge statement of intent from Allardyce’s side.
