Wolverhampton Wanderers supporters have praised Everton stopper Jordan Pickford.

Everton took on Wolves on the opening day of the season, and after Pickford’s heroics in the World Cup he was given a good ovation at Molineux.
Pickford admits that he appreciated that Wolves fans’ gesture, and he is hopeful that all opposition fans will be as friendly.
“It’s really nice. The first one was Wolves away. I came out and got a massive applause. That’s a difference,” Pickford said. “Sometimes I’m looking behind me and thinking, ‘Is that for me or not?’
“So I give them a clap and applause. It’s about interacting. I’ve always been like that as a player and always interact with the home and away fans if I can.”

Everton and Wolves played out a 2-2 draw on that occasion, after an entertaining game.
Richarlison scored both goals for the Toffees, while Wolves hit back twice through Ruben Neves and Raul Jimenez.
Pickford’s Everton side and Wolves have accrued a similar amount of points over the first four games this season.
Everton are currently in seventh place in the Premier League table, while Wolves are in 11th.
