Everton are eyeing Ange Postecoglou with the Celtic boss on their radar if they choose to move on from Frank Lampard.
The Toffees lost 3-0 away at Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon in a truly dismal performance.
Everton fans voiced their anger at the full-time whistle and Lampard again finds himself under huge pressure.
Five defeats and just four points in the last seven games after going six unbeaten means a downbeat feeling is returning to Goodison Park.
If you include the cup defeat to Bournemouth in midweek, it’s now three straight defeats for Everton and concerns are mounting.

Everton are eyeing Ange Postecoglou
Lampard will likely get a little more time to turn things around but Everton need to think about potential successors.
The Sun’s Alan Nixon now reports that Everton do have a name in mind to possibly replace Lampard – Ange Postecoglou.
Postecoglou’s attacking football has impressed Everton and the Toffees seemingly fancy luring the Australian to Goodison Park.
Lampard isn’t in immediate danger but Everton are casting admiring glances towards the Celtic boss.
Who wouldn’t be impressed with Postecoglou?
Celtic’s move to land him from Yokohama F. Marinos in 2021 seemed like a strange one after chasing Eddie Howe for so long.
Postecoglou has worked wonders at Celtic though, guiding them to the Scottish Premiership title last season whilst playing superb football.
Celtic are heavy favourites for the Scottish Premiership title again this term and the Bhoys are now getting used to Postecoglou being linked away.
First it was Brighton and Hove Albion, then it was Wolverhampton Wanderers, now it’s Everton.
Postecoglou didn’t really bat an eyelid at those other rumours and it’s hard to imagine that he will see Everton as being any more appealing right now.
The Toffees have dipped quite a way from the days of challenging for European action and are battling against relegation again.
Postecoglou surely won’t trade Celtic for that kind of battle and Everton may be left disappointed if they put their eggs in the Australian’s basket.
