Everton legend Tim Cahill has become available, after his contract at Melbourne City expired.

Everton fans have appealed for Tim Cahill to come back to Goodison Park, following the expiration of his contract at Melbourne City.
Cahill may be 38 now, but some Everton fans are eager for the Australian to come back for a glorious end to his career.
Some Toffees fans have suggested that Cahill takes a coaching role in Sam Allardyce’s backroom, while others want the veteran forward to help them up-front.
Cahill is an Everton legend, following his eight years of service to the Toffees earlier in his career.
Cahill scored 68 goals in 278 Everton appearances between the years of 2004 and 2012, before moving on to New York Red Bulls.

Since leaving Everton, Cahill has gone on to play in America, China and Australia – and he has always had a credible scoring record.
If Cahill was to return to Goodison Park as a player, he would be in competition with the likes of Oumar Niasse and Dominic Calvert-Lewin for a place up-front.
