Everton fans are hoping that James Maddison is snapped up in the summer transfer window, after his performance for England’s under-21 side yesterday.

The Three Lions’ youngsters picked up a 2-1 victory over the Ukraine, and Maddison played a starring role in the contest.

The Norwich City midfielder set up Everton forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s opener with a wonderfully weighted pass.

And Everton fans are now hoping to see Calvert-Lewin and Maddison link up at Goodison Park next season.

Maddison’s form for Norwich this season has attracted a lot of attention, and he has become one of the Championship’s stand out talents.

The attacking midfielder has 13 goals to his name and seven assists.
