Everton fans have urged Sam Allardyce to make a deadline day move for Manchester United defender Daley Blind.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, Blind could be available.

At first it seemed that the Dutchman was set to move to Roma, but that potential switch has fallen through.

Blind is now set to stay at Old Trafford, but Everton fans are keen to see him at Goodison Park.

Everton are in need of a new left-back, and Toffees fans feel Blind could be a good option.

Everton boss Sam Allardyce has already confirmed that he is working on a loan deal today, which is thought to be for Manchester City defender Eliaquim Mangala.

Everton are likely to go for the remainder of the season with their current options at left-back, which is not a particularly encouraging prospect.

With Leighton Baines out injured, Cuco Martina has been required to fill the void on the left-hand side of Everton’s defence, and the former Southampton man has struggled so far.
