Luke Shaw looks set to leave Manchester United this summer.

Manchester United may have made it through to the semi-finals of the FA Cup, but it’s fair to say that manager Jose Mourinho wasn’t completely happy with the display in the 2-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday afternoon.
Days after the dismal Champions League exit at the hands of Sevilla, United were back at Old Trafford, and goals from Romelu Lukaku and Nemanja Matic handed them a comfortable win.
Mourinho may be happy to be into the last four of the competition, but he was furious with the performance of left back Luke Shaw, who was substituted at half time.

The 22-year-old defender has never quite been Mourinho’s proverbial cup of tea, but he was handed a chance to impress against the Seagulls before being withdrawn at the break in favour of Ashley Young.
As if that wasn’t bad enough for Shaw, Mourinho then blasted the left back’s performance, with BBC Sport now claiming that the defender will look to leave Old Trafford this summer.
Shaw was a £27million signing for United from Southampton in 2014 (BBC Sport), but injuries and his relationship with Mourinho have held him back from becoming the sensation many expected having starred for Southampton.

Some may still see the potential in Shaw though if he does become available, and Everton fans have taken to Twitter to urge the club to make a move for the England international, suggesting they would take him a heartbeat.
A successor to Leighton Baines is needed at Goodison Park, and many feel that Shaw would be the perfect signing, with some going as far to say that it would be a huge missed opportunity from the Toffees if they don’t attempt to sign Shaw this summer.
