Everton are said to be interested in signing Burnley defender Michael Keane in the summer.

Everton fans have urged Ronald Koeman to complete a deal for Burnley defender Michael Keane, after his performances for England last night.

Keane put in a highly impressive display on his international debut yesterday, during England’s 1-0 defeat to Germany.

The Burnley defender was played in three-man defence for the Three Lions and looked comfortable on the international stage.

Keane was solid defensively throughout, and looked composed in possession.

The 24-year-old has certainly done his reputation no harm with his performance, and Everton fans are keen to see Keane brought to Goodison Park now.

Everton have been linked with Keane for months (Daily Mail), with Koeman thought to be wanting to add a centre-back in the summer.

Everton currently have an ageing backline, and Keane would add youthfulness and quality to their defence.

Keane’s performance may have been enough to keep him in England’s team for their next match, which comes against Lithuania at Wembley on Sunday.
