Everton picked up a first Premier League win of 2018 on Wednesday night, as they beat Leicester City 2-1 at Goodison Park.
The Toffees had gone six Premier League games without a win, picking up just three points in that run as Sam Allardyce’s men faded following a strong start to his reign.
On Tuesday, Everton did hit back with a win, as January signing Theo Walcott converted from close range after Gylfi Sigurdsson profited from Ben Chilwell’s mistake.

Walcott then grabbed his second of the game and of his Everton career, volleying home at the back post from Michael Keane’s header to give the Toffees a 2-0 lead.
Jamie Vardy’s penalty set up a nervy second half though, and whilst Kelechi Iheanacho hit the woodwork twice in a matter of moments, Everton held on for a 2-1 win.
The likes of Walcott and Seamus Coleman both starred for Everton, but fans were far from impressed with the performance of striker Oumar Niasse.

The Senegal ace missed a number of great opportunities to score, and Everton supporters took to Twitter during and after the game to voice their concerns over Niasse.
Everton fans begged Allardyce to never start Niasse again, especially with Cenk Tosun sat on the bench, even branding him a ‘Sunday League player’ whilst suggesting that he simply has no business being anything other than a substitute.
