Everton have been heavily linked with Wilfried Zaha.

Everton may attempt to make a marquee signing this summer, and the latest name linked with a move to Goodison Park is that of Wilfried Zaha.

The Toffees have enjoyed a solid if unspectacular transfer window so far this summer, landing Jonas Lossl and Fabian Delph as well as securing Andre Gomes permanently.

Everton may yet look to splash the cash for a big addition though, and Sky Sports report that they will hold talks later this week about a move to sign Crystal Palace star Zaha.

The 26-year-old may well look to leave the Eagles this summer, but offers to play in the Champions League appear thin on the ground right now.

That has given Everton hope of a blockbuster deal, but Palace’s valuation is £80million – and it remains to be seen whether the Toffees go anywhere near that price.

Zaha has added end product to his game over the last three years, meaning he’s no long an inconsistent winger with pace and trickery, but a well-rounded, versatile attacker who has become a star at Selhurst Park.

Despite that, some Everton fans aren’t so keen on a move to sign Zaha, believing that paying more than £70million would be a ‘serious concern’, as that’s far too much money for him.

Others just don’t think Everton will be signing Zaha anyway, and would much rather see the likes of Malcom or David Neres arrive if Marcel Brands is going to splash big money on a new winger.
