The Toffees legendary trio of Howard Kendall, Alan Ball and Colin Harvey will be immortalised in statue form outside the Premier League club’s ground.

Everton have announced that work has begun on a statue depicting three of the club’s greatest players of all time near Goodison Park.
Toffees trio Howard Kendall, Alan Ball and Colin Harvey, known as the “Holy Trinity”, were regarded as the best midfield trio in England in the 1960s.
The statue will be situated on Goodison Road, with the pavement outside St Luke’s Church on Goodison Road extended to accommodate it, as per the club’s statement.
Tom Murphy, who created the club’s statue of legendary striker Dixie Dean, has been tasked with sculpting the Holy Trinity statute too, and it is expected to be unveiled at the end of the season.
Harvey joined the Merseyside club as an apprentice in 1960, while World Cup winner Ball signed from Blackpool in 1966 and Kendall arrived from Preston North End a year later.
The trio helped Everton win the First Division title in 1970, while the following decade, Kendall and Harvey became the club’s most successful managerial team, leading them to two league titles, an FA Cup and the European Cup Winners Cup in the 1980s.
