The Toffees face Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal one after the other in the final month of 2019.

The Premier League fixture reveal day is upon us and, while Everton’s first match of the season is not the most daunting of tasks, some Toffees fans have cast their eye upon what December has in store for Marco Silva’s side.
Everton kick off their 2019-20 campaign with a trip to Crystal Palace on the weekend of 10 August, with all fixtures subject to change according to TV selections, which the club estimates will be made in early July (club’s official Twitter feed).
After facing Roy Hodgson’s side at Selhurst Park, the Toffees’ first home game of the season takes place a week later, against Watford, but when it comes to the first Merseyside derby, it will herald the start of a daunting run for the Blues.
Liverpool will await Everton at Anfield on 4 December, before Silva’s charges face Chelsea at home, Manchester United away, and Arsenal at home, though the period between Christmas and New Year will bring relative respite with Burnley at home and Newcastle United away.
But what’s in store for Everton on New Year’s Day as the new decade rolls in? It had to be Manchester City away, didn’t it?
Here is what some Everton fans said on Twitter of the club’s fixture list reveal – in particular when the GIF flicked over to December:
