The Toffees attacker has found himself criticised for much of this season but thoroughly impressed for Marco Silva’s side today.

A number of Everton fans have taken to Twitter to rave about Theo Walcott’s impressive performance as the Toffees secured a crucial 2-0 win at Goodison Park today.
The 30-year-old has found himself under criticism at times this season due to displays deemed lacklustre by some fans but against West Ham he was very much on song with a tireless and creative performance.
Walcott provided the delivery to set up Bernard’s goal on 17 minutes, which went a long way to calming the nerves at Goodison Park given Everton’s form going into the game, as well as putting in a good defensive shift, helping Djibril Sidibe settle into his first Premier League start, and rattling the woodwork with a superb long-range effort.
Here is what some of the Toffees fans said on social media regarding the £100,000-per-week (Spotrac) attacker:
The Toffees moved out of the Premier League‘s bottom three after unanswered goals from Bernard and Gylfi Sigurdsson helped overcome the Hammers and ease the pressure on under-fire Everton boss Marco Silva.
Up next for the Goodison Park side is the Premier League trip to Brighton next Saturday.
